Main Structure of Lightweight Rock Splitter

A portable hydraulic rock splitter has several main parts:

Working Principle of Hydraulic Stone Splitter

Place the splitting gun into the drilled hole. Ensure the wedge is aligned with the desired splitting direction.

Step 3: Apply hydraulic pressure

The pump station sends high-pressure oil to the splitting gun. The pressure pushes the center wedge forward.

Step 4: Wedges expand

The center wedge forces the side wedges outward. Lateral pressure builds inside the hole.

Step 5: Rock splits

The rock cracks along the weak line. Splitting takes 10-15 seconds. No vibration. No noise.

Step 6: Release pressure

The center wedge retracts. The splitter is removed from the hole. Repeat the process for the next hole.
