Key Advantages & Features

Superior tracked mobility for challenging or rough terrain – steel tracks distribute weight evenly, preventing sinking on soft ground

No outriggers needed for YG-5015 and YG-5020 – quick setup, pump immediately after arrival

Climb slopes up to 35° – works on hillsides, embankments, and mountain roads

Move while pumping – continuous concrete placement without repositioning stops

Compact footprint – fits tunnels, mine shafts, and confined urban sites

Wireless remote control – operate from a safe distance, away from moving parts

High-pressure hydraulic system – delivers stable pumping pressure with minimal vibration

Built for continuous operation – heavy-duty cooling system handles long hours

How a Crawler Concrete Pump Works?

Step 1: Material loading – Aggregate, sand, cement, and water are fed into the 2m³ mixing drum. The mixer blends fresh concrete on site. For projects that only require pumping ready-mixed concrete, our Concrete Delivery Pump is also available.

Step 2: Crawler positioning – The operator drives the machine to the pour point. Steel tracks grip the ground. No outriggers needed for smaller models.

Step 3: Pumping system activation – Concrete moves from the drum into the pumping system. Dual cylinders push concrete through the pipeline.

Step 4: Boom delivery – The articulated boom unfolds to reach the pour area. The 26m boom covers large work zones.

Step 5: Move while pumping – For long pours, the machine moves forward while pumping. Concrete flows continuously. No stops. No cold joints.

Step 6: Remote control operation – The operator controls movement, boom position, and pumping speed from a safe distance.

Applications of Crawler Concrete Pump

This tracked concrete pump works well in many jobs:

Tunnel lining – Place concrete on tunnel walls and ceilings. No outriggers means no blocked lanes. Move forward as lining progresses.

Pile foundations – Pour concrete into deep foundation holes. Reach over rebar cages. Move between piles without repositioning.

Mine and quarry sites – Rough, uneven ground. Muddy access roads. The crawler system keeps moving where wheeled pumps stop.

Mountain roads and hillsides – Work on slopes up to 35°. Track system handles steep inclines and rocky terrain.

Bridge construction – Place concrete on bridge decks and abutments. Work from embankments and rough ground.

Hydroelectric dams – Pour large volumes of concrete in remote locations. Self-contained machine, no support equipment needed.

Rural construction – Narrow roads and tight job sites. Compact size and tracked mobility reach areas trucks cannot.

Choose a crawler concrete pump when your job site is rough, muddy, or hard to reach. Choose a trailer pump for flat ground and budget projects.

For urban construction and projects on paved roads, a Concrete Boom Pump Truck may be a better choice thanks to its fast road mobility and long placing boom.

Customer Case

A tunnel construction company was working on a mountain highway project. The tunnel was 2 kilometers long. The job required continuous concrete lining on tunnel walls. Wheeled pumps could not enter the tunnel due to mud and uneven ground. Truck-mounted pumps could not reach the site.

They bought a YG-5020 crawler concrete pump. The machine drove into the tunnel on its steel tracks. No outriggers needed. The 20m boom reached the walls and ceiling. One operator controlled movement and pumping from a safe distance.

Results:

  • Continuous concrete placement, no cold joints
  • 50m³/h output kept pace with the crew
  • Zero sinking or slipping on muddy tunnel floor
  • The machine moved forward as the tunnel progressed

The project manager said: “The crawler pump did what no wheeled pump could do. We finished the lining on schedule. I am ordering a second unit for our next tunnel.”

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between YG-5015 and YG-6029?

A: YG-5015 is smaller (15m boom, 50m³/h, no outriggers). YG-6029 is larger (26m boom, 80m³/h, swing outriggers). Choose based on site size and output needs.

Q: Do I need outriggers for the crawler concrete pump?

A: YG-5015 and YG-5020 do not need outriggers. Set up immediately. YG-6026 and YG-6029 have swing outriggers for extra stability on larger pours.

Q: Can the machine move while pumping?

A: Yes. The crawler system allows movement during pumping. This is ideal for long tunnel lining and continuous pours.

Q: Can it climb steep slopes?

A: Yes. The machine climbs slopes up to 35°. Steel tracks provide grip on loose rock, mud, and gravel.

Q: How long does setup take on site?

A: 5-10 minutes for models without outriggers. Drive to the pour point and start pumping.

Q: Can it be used on paved roads?

A: Yes but steel tracks may damage asphalt. Use rubber pads or plan transport. This machine is designed for rough terrain, not highway travel.

Q: What is the warranty?

A: The main structure has a 24-month warranty. Hydraulic and electrical components have a 12-month warranty.

Q: What is the price of a crawler concrete pump?

A: Price depends on model and configuration. YG-5015 is the most affordable. YG-6029 costs more. Contact us for a quote.

Q: Do you offer customization?

A: Yes. Custom boom length, output capacity, and power options are available. Contact us for your specific needs.

YG Machinery has been manufacturing concrete pumps for many years. Our crawler concrete pumps are CE and ISO9001 certified. Each unit is tested before shipping. The tracks are checked for tension.
