Complete Juice Production Process
Step 1: Raw Material Preparation
Fresh fruit is received and inspected. Overripe or damaged fruit is removed. Sorting ensures consistent raw material quality.
Step 2: Washing
Fruit goes through bubble washer or brush spray washer. Removes dirt, soil, and surface contaminants. Clean fruit enters the processing line.
Step 3: Crushing
Fruit is crushed into small pieces. Crusher output size is 5-8cm. Breaks cell walls for better juice extraction.
Step 4: Extraction (Juicing)
Different extraction methods for different fruits:
- Orange: Cut and squeeze. Separate peel oil and juice.
- Apple/Pear: Press using belt or screw press. High yield, low residue.
- Berries: Crush and press with special care for color retention.
- Tomato/Carrot: Pre-heat and pulping.
Step 5: Filtration and Clarification
Juice passes through vibrating screen, disc centrifuge, or membrane filter. Removes pulp particles, seeds, and suspended solids. Clarified juice has longer shelf life.
Step 6: Pasteurization and Sterilization
Juice is heated to kill microorganisms. Tube-in-tube or plate heat exchanger. UHT sterilization available for aseptic filling.
Step 7: Filling
Sterilized juice is filled into clean bottles. Three-in-one machine handles rinsing, filling, and capping in one unit. Reduced contamination risk.
Step 8: Labeling and Packaging
Bottles are labeled, coded, and shrink-wrapped. Ready for shipment.

Core Advantages of Juice Filling Machine
Many producers now choose a complete juice filling line because it improves both product quality and production efficiency.
Food-Grade Construction: All contact parts are 304 stainless steel. Meets food safety standards. No contamination. Easy to clean.
Flexible Process Design: One line works for clarified juice, cloudy juice, nectar, and fruit pulp. Configure modules based on your product.
High Juice Yield: Belt press extraction achieves 75-78% yield. 35% higher than traditional machines. Lower raw material cost.
Flavor and Nutrition Retention: Low-temperature vacuum concentration. Instant UHT sterilization. Membrane filtration. Preserves natural vitamins and fruit flavors.
Full Automation: Cleaning, crushing, pressing, filtration, sterilization, and filling run continuously. Reduces manual labor. Minimizes human contamination.
Wide Material Adaptability: Process oranges, apples, pears, grapes, tomatoes, carrots, pineapples, mangos, and more. One line, multiple products.
CIP Cleaning System: Clean-in-place system. No disassembly. Sanitary conditions maintained between batches.
Long Shelf Life: Aseptic filling system. No preservatives needed. Stable storage for 6 months to 2 years.
Filling Types for Juice Production
| Filling Type | Temperature | Best For | Shelf Life |
| Hot fill | 85-95°C | High acid juices, PET bottles | 6-12 months |
| Cold fill | Ambient | NFC juice, sensitive flavors | 3-6 months (refrigerated) |
| Aseptic fill | Sterile environment | Premium juice, long shelf life | 12-24 months |
Hot fill – Juice is heated to 85-95°C and filled hot. Bottle sterilization is achieved by the product itself. Works best with high acid juice (orange, apple, pineapple) and PET bottles.
Cold fill – Juice is filled at ambient temperature. Flavor profile is closest to fresh juice. Requires separate bottle sterilization. Best for premium or refrigerated products.
Aseptic fill – Juice is sterilized in UHT and filled in a sterile environment. All components are sterilized. Long shelf life without refrigeration. Premium solution for high-value products.

Customer Case – Juice Factory Expansion
A medium-sized juice manufacturer in Thailand produced orange and apple juice for the domestic market. The factory used a semi-manual filling system. Output was limited. Filling accuracy was inconsistent. Customer complaints about underfilled bottles increased.
Before purchasing YG equipment:
- Production: 8,000 bottles per day (8-hour shift)
- Fill accuracy: ±5%, frequent overfill/underfill
- Labor: 6 workers per shift
- Downtime: 2-3 hours per week for adjustments
- Customer complaints: 8-10 per month
Solution:
YG-JF3000 juice filling line installed. Complete line from juice preparation to packaged product. CIP cleaning system. 304 stainless steel contact parts.
After installation (3 months of operation):
- Production: 20,000 bottles per day (8-hour shift) – 150% increase
- Fill accuracy: ±1%, zero underfill complaints
- Labor: 2 workers per shift – 66% reduction
- Downtime: Less than 1 hour per month – 90% reduction
- Customer complaints: Zero
The plant manager said: “The YG juice filling line gave us consistent quality and volume. We now supply two major supermarket chains. We are planning a second line for mango juice.”
